Ten International Gem Inc.

TEN, International Gem Institute was formally founded by Teacher Ten Shun-Tien Wu, in 1981 at San Duo Road, Kaohsiung City. It has several relocations in recent years. It was located at Dan-yeong Street, Yancheng District where known as a jewelry business district. Later due to expansion of research institutes and teaching equipment it was moved to Chung Cheng Road opposite the Kaohsiung City Council.
The bitter joy of the jewelry business community has accompanied TEN International Gem Institute’s growth and experience for past thirty years.
Today, TEN International Gem Institute moved again back to Qi Xian Road. We use newer and more advanced equipment. Teacher Wu will continue with the jewelry industry to explore the mysteries of the natural jewels and uncover the secret circles of synthetic gemstones. In thirty years Teacher Wu adheres to the usual self stringent requirements to explore and solve market’s synthetic and artificial gemstones’ technology and information with fairness and objective and continuously contact and master the latest dynamic domestic and international accreditation bodies.
In addition to having the most professional sources of information and the most experience in the identification, TEN International Gem Institute constantly pursuits of the latest identification technology. TEN International Gem Institute is the earliest institute to use of the infrared spectroscopy for identifying the spectra of emerald jaundice treatment and cooperated with US GIA to publish and establish a set of infrared spectroscopy data applications in the gem. It also used UV-visible light spectrometer to detect synthetic diamonds and distinguish the processed color diamond.
